Who/what is Barrett Tours?
We are a family run business based out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. In 2005 and 2006 the Disneyland Resort was celebrating its 50th Anniversary and advertisements were everywhere. My family wanted to go but could not afford it. Plane travel was just to expensive and I am afraid to fly anyhow.
We knew that there had to be more people like us out there so we became inspired to start a business sending people to Disneyland via "express" Motor Coach. We planned a tour for July of 2006 and fully expected it to be the only tour we ever did (if that). We took out some advertisements and received quite a shock! The phone kept ringing so we just kept planning trips. That first year we did tours in July, August, October, and December.
To date we have completed 14 tours and are going strong.
Barrett Tours is not a travel agency nor are we the transportation provider. Our role is to plan the tour and hire a motor coach company to provide the express transportation.
"Express" means we go straight thru to California with no overnight stop. Two drivers take turns driving and sleeping in a special bunk to get us to California and back as quickly as possible in order to give us maximum time at our destinations.

Why book with Barrett Tours when I can just fly??
When you travel on one of our tours it is one stop shopping. You are picked up at a spot in Saskatchewan, your transportation is provided, your hotel rooms are provided, your Disneyland tickets are provided, your shuttle service to and from the hotel is provided, and you have a host on board to help answer questions and take care of you.
There is no question that flying down is a fast and efficient way to travel. But if you are afraid to fly (like me!) or are on a budget than it is not always the best option. Especially during "peak" times (school holidays) when rates are often higher. And let's face it, most of us are traveling when the kids are not in school.
As a general rule of thumb our passengers save a solid $300 or more PER PERSON than if they used a travel agency and took to the air. That can really add up. I have done tours before where my entire package was the same cost of airline tickets alone.
Also, when you travel by Motor Coach you get to share in the adventure of traveling across country and seeing the sights. Our Disneyland tours spend time in Las Vegas. If you decide to fly to Disneyland your probably not going to spend anytime on the Vegas strip right? Where by the way there are plenty of family friendly things to do. Its not all about the naughty stuff :)

This tour picks up in Saskatoon, Regina, and Moose Jaw. The rate you pay includes your express transportation to and from California via motor coach, your accommodations, theme park tickets, and all needed shuttle service. Theme park tickets included are as follows: Three day park hopper to the Disneyland Resort which is two theme parks. Disneyland itself as well as Disney's California Adventure. One day pass to Universal Studios Hollywood. One day pass to Sea World in San Diego. We also stop at a family friendly location on the Vegas strip for a brief break on the way home. We will provide you with transportation to Universal and San Diego from our hotel. We usually stay at a local 2 star hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. So on those days there is no bus service. If for some reason we had to stay a longer distance than we would supply scheduled shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort as well. In a nutshell, we have you covered. Get on the bus and let us worry about the details. Your transportation, rooms, theme park tickets (which include rides) are all taken care of in the rate you pay.

These rates apply for both the upcoming December tour as well as Easter 2013
Two people in a room: $1,199 per person ($2,398 total)
Three people in a room: $1,099 per person ($3,297 total)
Four people in a room: $999 per person ($3,996 total)
These rates are in Canadian funds and there are no extra taxes or fee's

Three day park hopper to the Disneyland Resort which is two theme parks. Disneyland itself as well as Disney's California Adventure.
One day pass to Universal Studios Hollywood.
One day pass to Sea World in San Diego.
A visit to world famous Newport Beach.
We also stop at a family friendly location on the Vegas strip for a brief break on the way home.
We will provide you with transportation to Universal, Newport Beach, and San Diego from our hotel.
We usually stay at a local 2 star hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. So on those days there is no bus service. If for some reason we had to stay a longer distance than we would supply scheduled shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort as well.

A $200 per person down payment is required to reserve seats on any tour. After that you can make payments if you would like or just pay in full on or before the due date.
For the December 2012/January 2013 tour the pay in full date is November 1, 2012.
For the Easter 2013 tour the pay in full date is February 1, 2013.
As these are bus tours there is limited seating and your down payments are our security deposits so there are no refunds unless Barrett Tours were to cancel on you. If we grant refunds it can put the entire trip in jeopardy for everyone else. Your seats are transferable up until a certain point though, so you can sell your spots to someone else if able too. We do our best to help everyone out in life's situations. Some of our travelers purchase third party trip cancellation insurance.
