Tour Details
This tour picks up at locations in Saskatchewan and Alberta depending on the tour (details below). The rate you pay includes your express transportation to and from California via motor coach, your accommodations, theme park tickets, and all needed shuttle service. Meals are NOT included but the hotels usually offer a free breakfast.

"Express" means we go straight thru to California with no overnight stop. Two drivers take turns driving and sleeping in a special bunk to get us to California and back as quickly as possible in order to give us maximum time at our destinations. So for example, you board the bus early morning in Saskatoon and arrive in Anaheim after supper time the next day.

Theme park tickets included are the Southern California City Pass which as of today includes:
Three day park hopper to the Disneyland Resort which is two theme parks, Disneyland itself as well as Disney California Adventure.
One day pass to Universal Studios Hollywood.
One day pass to Sea World in San Diego.
A short stop at Huntington Beach.
We also stop on the Vegas strip for an extended lunch break on the way home.

For a small additional charge you can add a short trip (couple hours) to Hollywood to see Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and the Walk of Fame.

NOTE: If for some reason any slight adjustment is made to the City Pass our tours will be adjusted accordingly.

We will provide you with transportation to Universal and San Diego from our hotel.
We usually stay at a local 2 star hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. So on those days there is no bus service. If for some reason we had to stay a longer distance than we would supply scheduled shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort as well.

In a nutshell, we have you covered. Get on the bus and let us worry about the details. Your transportation, rooms, theme park tickets (which include rides) are all taken care of in the rate you pay.

Tours that originate in Saskatchewan pick up in Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw, and Swift Current.

A brief summary of everyone's role in these tours.

Barrett Tours is the company you are booking with, but we are not the ones actually providing the service. In a similar fashion to how you go to a travel agent who books your plane and hotel, we book you onto a chartered bus and the hotel.

We do our best to provide you with information that should help you be successful on the tour. But once you are on the actual tour you are now in the hands of the chartered bus company who takes you from there.

We like to arrange a “Trip Captain” on each tour who is often a repeat customer who was going anyhow. If no repeat customer we work something out ahead of time to choose one. The person receives a discount to do some basic duties like play movies on the bus, relay information to you from the bus drivers, etc. But the “Trip Captain” is not an employee of Barrett Tours. This is just something we arrange to attempt to make things run more smoothly.

As you are under the care of the charter bus company, they make the decisions on meal stops during the journey and have the ability to make changes to the itinerary as needed if unexpected circumstances require it. But deviations from my itinerary are rare.

At the hotel you often will go in and sign in individually for your rooms. The rooms will be pre-paid before you arrive, but like any reputable hotel you need to put down a valid credit card to cover incidentals or damage (smoking in a non-smoking room for example). If you do not have a credit card they will accept a $100usd security deposit which is refunded after successful room examination at check-out time.

If you have a problem or concern at the hotel or on the bus you need to let them know. You have paid for the services they are providing and are entitled to give them feedback. And of course please always let me know how things go when you get back so I can make proper decisions on service providers moving forward.

So to summarize… Barrett Tours is not there with you on the trip nor providing the trip. We are the organizer.
